Epiphergy's Values
Epiphergy values honesty, integrity, personal responsibility, determination, and respect. In addition to observing all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and many industry best practices, Epiphergy has established a number of internal policies that (we hope) other organizations will join us in implementing, such as:
Printing: We print on 100% post-consumer, FSC certified paper products. This includes all of our business cards, letterhead, marketing material, and whitepapers.
Web Hosting: Our web site and e-mail are hosted in a carbon-neutral data center that uses 100% wind energy for all electricity, heating, and cooling.
Telecommuting: We encourage employees to work from home if they do not need to be in the office on a particular day.
Carbon Neutrality: We encourage our customers and employees to reduce their energy consumption and to offset their carbon emissions from fossil fuels by purchasing carbon offset credits or RECs. Epiphergy plans to be 100% carbon neutral in 2009 through a combination of wind electricity, biofuels (primarily ethanol), carbon offsets, RECs, and conservation.
Reduce VOCs: Epiphergy uses only ultra-low VOC paints in all our facilities to help improve air quality.
