E-Fuel MicroFueler

The MicroFueler ("Earth's First Home Ethanol System") is an "appliance" that allows you to produce up to 70 gallons of high-quality ethanol fuel each week, often for less than $1.00 per gallon. It features a user-friendly LCD interface, "set it and forget it" controls, and a dual-key fuel pump locking mechanism for security.

The MicroFueler is as simple to install and operate as an average household washing machine or dishwasher, and the built-in 50' retractable hose makes refueling easy.

For Home and Business:

Many residential and business customers can utilize the MicroFueler to produce ethanol fuel from available "wastes". Breweries, bars, restaurants, and food processing companies discard large quantities of alcohol and/or sugars on an almost daily basis. Recovering these wastes for ethanol fuel production (and the resulting fuel, sewer, & waste disposal savings) can produce significant financial and environmental benefits.

The MicroFueler's built-in fermentation capability also allows customers to produce ethanol from molasses, dry sugar, grains, and even many cellulosic materials. Customers that are unable to locate sufficient waste feedstock can purchase 50-lb bags of "EFuel100-FM" ethanol feedstock direct from Epiphergy.

Although the MicroFueler was originally developed to take advantage of non-food-grade sugar feedstock, it can be used with virtually any raw material with some modification. Epiphergy is currently working to develop cellulosic MicroFueler-based solutions to produce fuel-grade ethanol from household and yard wastes, including: wood chips, food waste, sawdust, grass clippings, leaves, etc.

Did you know that approximately half of the food produced in America never makes it to the dinner table? In fact, about half of all food grown in our country ends up as WASTE. It's true. Read more about that here. In California, approximately 16% of the garbage that ends up in municipal landfills is (you guessed it) FOOD. Read more about that here.
